Detecting and removing hijacker/spyware software on mac, iphone, computer, blackberry, cell phone etc

detecting and removing hijacker software on mac, iphone, computer, blackberry, cell phone (Windows mobile or symbian based) etc.

certain devices also 'spy' on your activity for certain extent of purpose such track your position and this will be reported to a certain company (iphone?) without you noticing it.

You can try to use system process monitor available for your device, if there are some process running unknown and unrecognized, it may be spyware or hijacker running without notice. In Windows environment you can call taskmgr (Task Manager)

There are some free tools that we can use to detect such softwares, however to remove them sometime we need to buy the license.
You can visit Detecting and removing hijacker/spyware or below link that has detail about spy on mobile phone:
1) Have you kept your phone with you at all times?
2) Unusually High Bill?
3) Battery Drain?
4) Shut Down Problems? slow response, not responding quickly
5) Check Your Icons! .. GPRS icon suddenly appearing with no reason
Also from

    • 1 trouble when shutting off your phone.
    • 2 your phone continues to stay lit up for several seconds to a minute after you've shut it off.
    • 3 your phone will light up when you're not using it to make a call, or when no one is calling you, or when you're not using any of the phone's apps. Spyware has to "call" your phone to get information.
    • 4 any strange background noises or clicks when you're on a call.
    • 5 an increase in GPRS activity. This indicates spyware is tracking your location.
    • 6 the icon that shows the Internet connection activates several times a day for no reason. Again, spyware is gathering information.
    • 7 many more text messages than you remember sending.
    • 8 Ask your partner or someone else close to you whether they have borrowed your phone to install a software program they say you'll like, or a wallpaper, or a ringtone.

  • Tips & Warnings

  • Use an anti-virus software on your phone to detect and remove viruses or spyware.
  • Take your phone to your service provider, which can erase the phone's memory and restore the factory default settings. You'll lose all your data, but the spyware will be history. Make a hard copy of any info you wish to retain.
  • Do not give your cell phone number to strangers or post it on the Internet. Spyware can be installed on your phone from a remote location simply by calling it.
  • If you let a stranger borrow your phone to make an "emergency" call before you noticed any of these signs, the number they called most likely installed spyware on your phone. This is commonly used to set up a program to send large numbers of text messages to your phone for which you are charged

Example of Spyware product:

Live Call Interception
Remote Monitoring
Stealth GPS Tracking
Text Messages
Call History (with inbound/outbound time & call duration)

Catch Cheating Partners
Enforce Company Cell Policies
Monitor Teen Cell Phone Use
Other iPhone Spyware Uses
It may happen in Iphone 4 or iphone 5, you need to consider in new iphone5 that some process has spy-like behaviour to record a certain data.

Some behaviour like a case of process in personal computer may not be removed easily, such as software informer that is useful application but it is difficult when the user need to remove it.
